Julia is a consultant who provides program development, evaluation, capacity building, technical services, and research services to community organizations and government agencies. Julia approaches her work with a participatory, collaborative, and equity framework in mind. Her interests include refugee and immigrant issues, community organizing and advocacy efforts, narrative building, storytelling, and systemic changes. Julia is also an Assistant Professor at Bergen Community College who teaches courses like General Psychology, Social Psychology, and Environmental Psychology. She is also a co-chair of the Asian Heritage Committee at the college and enjoys developing programs to lift up Asian voices. She is trained as a Community Psychologist and has earned her PhD degree in Community Psychology from Georgia State University.

When she is not working on projects or teaching, Julia can be found on her Peloton bike or row, practicing pilates or yoga, reading, watching her favorite K-contents, listening to BTS, spending time with family and friends, or dreaming about writing her book.
