Kavi Vu
Kavi Vu (she/her) is a videographer and social media strategist who helps tell thoughtful stories by always putting human connections and experiences first. Kavi is especially invested in helping amplify narratives from historically silenced communities.
Kavi has worked with nonprofits and commercial businesses — from Advancing Justice-Atlanta, Center for Civic Innovation, New Georgia Project, to Delta Air Lines, National Geographic, and Sweet Hut Bakery. In 2023, Kavi was featured in “Atlanta 500: Our City’s Most Powerful Leaders” by Atlanta Magazine. Currently, she is honing her skill to coach young artists and entrepreneurs entering the creative space.
Kavi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia (ABJ'13) with an emphasis in photojournalism and documentary. When Kavi is not helping tell stories, she enjoys hearing them through poetry and hip hop — her first two introductions to storytelling that made her fall in love with the craft.
