Laura Li
Pronouns: she/herLaura is an organizer and strategist who scales up campaigns that build community power and a world where everyone can live with dignity. For more than 10 years, Laura has worked with nonprofit organizations, advocacy coalitions, and foundations to pass progressive legislation, increase civic engagement, demand immigrant and refugee justice, and create new economies. With expertise in digital organizing and narrative/messaging strategy, Laura shifts culture and public opinion to reimagine the world.
Prior to reimagine, Laura was the Organizing Director at 18 Million Rising and led their political education offerings and campaigns — training thousands of members and raising tens of thousands of grassroots dollars. She is trained in strategic communication by Reframe and in facilitation by AORTA.
Laura holds a MS in Political Communication from the University of Gothenburg and a BA in Politics from Oberlin College.
When not working, Laura is a ceramicist, avid reader, and aspiring author currently based in Sweden.
